Skiing brought Bob and his wife, Breda, to Vermont but it was innkeeping that kept them here. First as managers of Summit Lodge and then as owners of Cortina Inn, which grew rapidly from 30 to 98 guestrooms, as well as two restaurants plus conference and banquet facilities. They were named Small Business Couple of the Year for Vermont in 1988 and Innkeepers of the Year in 1990. They sold the inn in 2003 and now reside on Pittsford, Vermont.
In addition to work, Bob has spent many hours in community service positions including: Rutland Regional Medical Center Board of Directors, Rutland Health Foundation Board, Green Mountain College Board of Trustees, Rutland Boys and Girls Club Board (President), Maclure Library Board (President), Pittsford Water and Sewer Commission and Pittsford Board of Listers (assessors).
Thirty five years in hospitality has given Bob a deep rooted sense of guest service and this translates easily to working with people to provide all types of real estate services. Bob, along with the Blue Ridge Real Estate team, will work with clients and customers every step of the way to ensure a smooth process.
Bob enjoys staying current on changes within the Vermont real estate industry through education. Bob has joined the National, State and Local Associations of Realtors.
