Betsy Franzoni

 Betsy has an eclectic professional background. While raising her 2 daughters, she earned a masters degree in psychology in the evenings and went on to be a psychologist in a local school system. Prior to that experience she worked in restaurant management for many years. Real Estate became the new challenge for Betsy in 2004 and within 2 years she earned her brokers license. In 2007 she co founded Blue Ridge Real Estate with her partner Rebecca Woodard. Although the market was and is presently difficult, Betsy’s customers and clients have been faithful and Blue Ridge has prospered. She is very grateful to those who have worked with her to acquire their housing goals.

Real Estate is an exciting and challenging profession!  Betsy is a second generation Real Estate broker as her mother Charlotte Franzoni was also a Real Estate Broker.  Betsy grew up in Rutland City, went to UVM for her undergraduate degree and earned her masters from College of Saint Josephs. She moved to Proctor in 1990 and still resides there.

Betsy has found joy in working with people her whole life. She has been involved with adolescents for the last 30 years in both professional and volunteer positions. She also has volunteered at The Woman’s Network and Shelter for the last 20 years providing counseling and as a board member. She has sat on many boards including The Rutland County Board of Realtors where she is president elect this year and slated to be president in the year 2011. She enjoys jumping in and getting involved.

Betsy has a real love of people and with her diverse background is able to address their needs and goals. She enjoys meeting people and making their real estate experience as smooth and comfortable as possible.
